What does this give me that I cannot already do in my current AI workspace?

Most AI workspaces are built for one-off answers inside a single conversation. An agentic operating system wraps the model in memory, tools, and scheduled jobs, so work continues between sessions instead of resetting each time you close the tab. The gap shows the moment a task has to span days, systems, and handoffs.

Would switching from one AI interface to another solve the core problem?

No. Switching interfaces can improve ergonomics, but it does not remove platform lock-in or create autonomy by itself. An agentic operating system treats the model as one component inside a broader system, so the business logic does not live inside any single front end.

What do I own if we stop working together?

You own the working system that was built for you. That includes the deployed instance, the workflows, the files and memory attached to your work, and the credentials, runbooks, and documentation needed to keep it running. A clean transition is the expectation.

What would ATX Logic still own if we stop working together?

ATX Logic retains its general know-how, reusable patterns, and any pre-existing tools or frameworks brought into the engagement. You retain your business data, client data, credentials, and workflows specific to your operation. Your operating system is yours. Our prior method and IP remain ours.

What should I expect the outside operating cost to be?

The largest variable cost is model usage, which fluctuates with provider, model quality, and workload complexity. A practical starting point is an unlimited OpenAI Codex plan at roughly $220 per month, plus ordinary hosting and storage. As workloads grow we can route different tasks to different models through OpenRouter to keep costs predictable.

How is sensitive data handled?

An agentic operating system runs in a dedicated, isolated server environment rather than mixed into a shared workspace. Access is SSH-restricted, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and client-specific files, memory, and credentials stay separated by default. DigitalOcean (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001) is one suitable host; the deeper principle is isolation and clear access boundaries.

A thirty-minute conversation will answer the rest.

No pitch deck, no pressure. Bring the workflow you’re stuck on and we’ll talk through whether an agentic operating system is the right fit for it.
